Hi Tunesday Strummers,
We meet again today at 5:30 PM at FPC Santa Fe, 208 Grant Ave., in Pope Hall C, our usual gathering place.
If everyone is agreeable, let’s spend the first half hour working from Hal Leonard’s Ukulele Book 1 to help our newest member, Zoe, get started. Anna can’t make it today, so I’ll bring two copies of the Hal Leonard book.
I hope you’re all swimming well through this deluge we seem to be immersed in!
Please pick out a few of your favorite songs for us to play. I’ll also bring copies of some sheet music and lyrics I wrote back in 2024, when I was still a ukulele neophyte, set to a tune by Stephen Foster.
And by the way, ask your friends if anyone might enjoy adding some percussion or accompaniment to our group. Piano or drums would be a great addition!
