Live From The Field

Cyfarchion,

Yes, Dear Ffrindiau tomorrow the 26th of August is a Tunesday. Often, I am told gentlemen and gentlewomen gather with ukuleles to play cheerfully on Tunesday eve from 17:30 to 19:30. But don’t worry you can also attend even with your morose attitude and your pitiful back posture. I’ll be there with satin underpants concealed within my flowing robes of denim, hatted and thinking of the Mesozoic. Ah! The age of reptiles, sandwiched between the Paleozoic and the Cenozoic. Predictably I have composed a haiku about the Mesozoic and ukuleles.

Ukuleles hum,

beneath ferns and lava skies

raptors tap the beat.

Now you may be asking yourself “What are the building materials and remediation planning this week?” And I will answer, predictably, with haiku

Bitumen melts slow,

sun peels secrets from the frame

sand reclaims the lie.

I have exhausted myself crafting this email.
But wait another haiku appears, predictably?

Predictably warm,

Chamisa bathes in golden light

joy blooms in dry soil.

I must leave you now before it is too late.
GCEA darlings!
