There are few days left before the Tunesday Christmas concert and clandestine extravaganza. I am sure that all of you are feverishly sanding, filing and sawing your ukuleles to ensure that you can defend yourself at this years big event. I can hardly wait to see how you all have prepared for our annual spice presentation. This years spice theme is medieval spices. One would expect to see numerous presentations of sugar, dander, grains of paradise, and talc given your proclivity to be historically accurate. It has been a long time since I have had talc flavored hardtack and been exposed to the inevitable smoke from a smouldering peat fire.
Please make sure that you are aware of our weekly Tunesday gathering will be Tuesday 25 November 2025 at the First Presbyterian Church in La Villa Real de la Santa Fe de San Francisco de Asís from 17:30 to 19:30. I know that is a long time to be playing your uke, let alone paying attention to your surroundings, so we will have Greg the concentration pig with us this week to help us maintain focus. I find Greg to be quite a comfort since he responds so well to the regular rhythms that are found in many of our favorite Tunesday songs. Alas this will be the last time we may see Greg before the end of the year since he has many holiday engagements.
